Lithotech

Lithotech is the core business unit of Bidpaper Plus, a mainstream division of Bidvest, which is listed on the JSE Securities Exchange in the industrial support services sector, with subsidiaries in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Not only is Lithotech the largest producer of continuous and cut-sheet business forms in southern Africa, it also boasts South Africa's largest digital printing bureau, providing the state, industry, banking and financial services sectors with world-class business communications services in both paper and digital formats.

Since the late 1990s, Lithotech has, through its electionsAfrica division, successfully provided materials and logistics for voter registration programmes and government elections to many countries on the African continent, thereby facilitating the development of democracy.

Bidpaper Plus

Bidpaper Plus is South Africa’s market leader in print production and fulfilment services. Core competencies include business forms manufacture, label production, as well as direct and transactional mailing services, incorporating digital printing. The manufacture and distribution of high-quality school and office stationery items complete the division’s comprehensive product offering. Annual turnover is in excess of US$251 million.

Bidvest Group Limited

The Group's principal activity is supplying ingredients, finished products and equipment to the catering and hospitality industries. The Group also provides private sector freight management with a presence in every major port in southern Africa. Port operations are reinforced by distribution and airfreight capabilities. This division focuses on terminal operations and logistics in southern Africa, international clearing and freight forwarding and marine services.

The Group also has business relating to the supply of electrical products and cable, furniture and stationery products.

Bording

While retaining its strong links as a ‘printing house’, the Bording Group has recently transformed itself into a creator of graphic IT and supplier of communication solutions. Such solutions combine graphic and digital elements and are designed to help customers optimise their day-to-day business processes when communicating with their surroundings.

Once created in digital format, Bording facilitates the transmission or distribution of customer messages via many different channels, including offset printing and web-to-mail.
